4 months agoThere seems to be a wait for everything - waiting for them to get our booking because it’s not in the system and waiting for them to confirm we have breakfast vouchers etc… Great location though, it’s right next to the beach, if you stay at the garden loft it’s only a couple of minutes walk away. You can see the sunrise if you’re lucky. We booked a family room, two rooms and there’s bathroom in each room. The toilet won’t flush properly and the shower water flow is small… other than that the room was pretty comfy, bed is really soft! The building definitely needs some love and upgrade. Free buffet breakfast that comes with the room, there isn’t too many option but decent. There’s an egg station, some dessert, milk and cereal, some baked potatoes, spaghetti etc. There’s also coffee tea and juices. You can have dinner right at the beach, the customer service is really great, the service staff recognised us and even remembered where we sat at the last time we came! You can swim at the beach but there might be jellyfish in there so swim at your own risk. There’s a swimming pool but you can only swim during the “operating hours”. Overall it’s quite a nice stay and it’s very relaxing! Servicing is pretty good too.

3 months agoOur recent stay at Adena Beach Resorts fell short of expectations. The resort seems to struggle with crowd management, especially during breakfast. The restaurant was constantly overcrowded, and we had to wait for a table both mornings. There didn’t appear to be an efficient system in place to manage guest flow, and to make matters worse, the breakfast menu was identical on both days—lacking variety. The chalet itself was underwhelming. There’s no pantry, which is inconvenient for guests staying for more than a night, and several power sockets in the room were non-functional, indicating a lack of maintenance. Room service was disappointing too—despite leaving for activities in the morning, we returned after lunch to find the bed made, but no proper cleaning had been done. Fresh towels were simply placed on the sofa, with no attention to cleaning the rest of the room. While the resort might work well for smaller groups, it seems unable to handle larger ones efficiently. Our room wasn’t even ready when we arrived at 3:00 PM, which added to the frustration. Overall, Adena Beach Resorts has potential but falls short in service and maintenance. If these areas were improved, it could be a great place to stay. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend it for those expecting a smooth, hassle-free experience.

a month agoWent with my husband on a work trip. Arrived and entered the room (beach chalet) and it was very stuffy and hot. The room is small, looks old and the bed had a weird smell. Has no wardrobe/cupboard and only had 3 hangers which is not much for me who hangs a lot of clothes. The room has no dressing table or a standing mirror so you have to get ready in the toilet. The room also had problems with the aircond where it was leaking and dripped on top of the small fridge which then made the aircond hot. Toilet was okay but I was very unsatisfied with the toiletries, the chalet provided those old small bottled shampoos and somehow made my hair hard and dry, they also didn’t provide conditioner, only shampoo and body wash and not to mention the shower head was dirty. I arrived late in the evening and it was dark. I really had trouble finding my chalet because the number sign for the room was very small and had no light for you to see. Room wasn’t cheap, I was expecting more but was so disappointed with the room. It’s sad because the place is nice but poorly maintained. I hope the hotel would do something about this.

a month agoTruly 5 stars experience. The staff named Afiq was kind enough to help me arrange the birthday decoration for my room & help to buy the cakes! The location is strategic, with a beautiful view and they even held a fire show & live band at night. Free breakfast was great as well. Definitely will come again ❤️ Thank youu!
